This Colt manufactured barreled receiver with the matching trigger guard is for the second type standard model medium frame Lightning slide action rifle in 38-40 caliber and is in very good condition exhibiting a brownish gray patina with some scattered specks of rust. The serial number on this receiver indicates that this is an antique firearm produced before December 31st, 1898 therefore it can be shipped directly to the customer.
